Post game: GB Defeats Indy 23- 19

The bad news is - and I don’t say this often - but Monk, Telfort and Jennings will legit get someone hurt. I don’t think they’re playable. Belton is a rung above them in that he will merely make the offense nonfunctional with penalties. Why does he lunge so much in pass pro?
Because in the pro game he's best suited for OG...OT doesn't translate for him...too stocky and his feet need a lot of work.

I thought Rhyan is penciled in to start at RG? Why did he play let alone so much since none of the other starters saw action.

Posting because I think it passes the eyeball test. His pass pro has been really solid. Nothing dominant and I don’t think he’s faced anyone particularly great but it’s been good, he looks like he belongs.

I think in the run game he’s been struggling to execute reach blocks when they run wide zone, he doesn’t seem strong enough with his hands and arms to influence defenders and he also seems kinda slow doing it or processing it if that makes sense.

Overall it begs the question: based on what we’ve seen, why not start him at LT over Walker? They don’t seem inclined to extend and keep Walker, the coaches don’t ever seem to like him, ML always seems irritated with him. If Morgan is demonstrating competence at tackle, why not let him play and hopefully continue to improve? Walker is a good backup to have if Morgan fails.

ML today said its a 100% open competition between Morgan and Walker for the LT job.

put him in a game vs starters playing hard for 4 qtrs.... those stats are pure crap. He'll get his ass handed to him. Book mark this post

The coaches are giving more praise to Morgan for holding up for less than 10 snaps against a second-year defensive end than Rasheed Walker gets for holding up for entire games against perennial Pro Bowlers and All-Pros.
