It's Easy to blame the HC when there are so many issues.? Question ?: Why is everyone on Matt LaFleur's ass all over the internet today when we gave up 40 points? Haven't seen Hafley's name mentioned much if at all? Can't give up 40 and expect to win. Packers couldn't stop a parked car yesterday.

Less this forum, which I respect greatly... there are a lot of dumbasses. Seriously have had some really dumb things on X today.? I think you hit it here with "situational calls". Happens in all sports, when a team is struggling, the officials are likely to start letting them get away with penalties (or fouls, or calling the balls/strikes favorably). And what happens is that they officiate the struggling team so favorably that it can change the momentum of the game. The NFL didn't want the home team Cowboys to get blown out, so they helped them (a lot), and that we could never get any consistent pressure on Dak. And pretty much every QB playing in the NFL will have success if he can stand back there and wait for guys to get open. But, regardless, our defense didn't get the job done, and as you mentioned allowed Dallas to get into advantageous down and distance way too often. I'm not trying to make excuses and blame the refs - but it did have an impact.I realize it, I don't have data to back this up so it's an impression, but Dallas got themselves in "... and short" situations all night and I think refs are less likely to call holds on pass plays in those situations. I think it's like a catcher framing a ball for the ump. You'd like to think this isn't the case but their eyes are primed to look for things situationally and I think if some of these rushes happened in "... and long" they may have called it more.
Thats why I don't want excuses. GB's run defense failed and allowed Dallas into advantageous down and distance and all the perks that come with it as a home team. They were constantly 2nd and 4 or 5. No defense can live that way.
