Packers Staff Pay And Experience

This is why for a few years I’ve been saying that GB doesn’t care about a SB it only cares about revenue and TT. This is exactly what I’m talking about when I say that the FO has a “meh, good enough” attitude.

This also brings up an interesting question. Maybe the scouting isn’t as bad as we think? But with subpar assistant coaches those players are never going to develop.
It's a weak point in the organizational structure and it falls squarely on the shoulders of Mark Murphy. Now we see if Policy is willing to course correct.

Question for those who know far more about football than me. Is there a link between poor coaching/technique and injuries? Can a certain % of injuries be attributed to poor technique?

If you have a bad S&C staff yeah you are going to have a lot more of those soft tissue issues.

But we see today a lot of guys on defense who don't know how to tackle and just do the body throws. That crap goes all way down to middle school football with no one wanting to train guys who to proper tackle anymore and players to scared to to actually use there bodies to tackle.

Don't forget that the last CBA the NFLPA took away practice and workout times from the S/C staff and the head coaches, so you have less time to teach and develop. For a young team, it's awful

To answer the other question...Yes, the talent is as bad as has been said, put it together, and it's a bloody mess.

Could ML and his agent be waiting to see if Harbaugh signs and what he gets to try to base a new contract off that?

Just to be clear - the CBA limited "organized" practice and workout times - not sure they can police player's "off campus" activities. And this goes back again to the veteran leadership angle - are other teams doing more? we always seem to be much flatter than other teams to start the season, for example . . .
