Let's see. I go back far enough that guys like Tony Canadeo and Breezy Reid were HBs. Fred Coan was the FB, and Tobin Rote was throwing bombs to Billy Howton. On defense, the one-eyed wonder, Bobby Dillon was snaring passes away from offenses. Dillon is still 26th on the all NFL list with 52, over an eight year career where they only played 12 games a year. That's 52 in 96 games. Had they played 16, and he averaged out as he was, he'd be at 4th place. Also, consider that in those days, they threw roughly 50% of the number of passes a game as they do now.
Dillon would have been a freaking interception machine with one eye in today's game!!!!!
