Packers Add Veteran Grant To Beat-Up Receiver Corps

he's actually in his fourth year. in 2017 he started 15 games and had 941 yards receiving on 63 receptions (7 tds). he's young and a proven starter. i could see him being worth a 3rd.
I'd offer 5th. He's essentially Trevor Davis. Does he return punts?

Anderson and Davis should not be used in the same conversation, totally different WR. And no he does not return punts. 4th is reasonable for him but again is he an upgrade over MVS once Adams comes back? Personally no and how long would it take for him the learn the system?

I wouldn't rule out Anderson, IF you think he's also part of your future. He's a FA in spring and I'd hate to give up more than a 5th rounder for a possible rental. If you think he could be part of your future and you can do a deal with him then I'd spend more.

He looks solid enough but I agree with "Pack" that I don't know how much better he is than what they already have and it may take him a few weeks to be ready. By then Adams is back and I don't know if you get great value from a deal.

The performance last week by the receivers is certainly hopeful, but I'm still not convinced that WR isn't still a top need going into the off-season next spring. MVS might be a #2, but doesn't seem like a great route runner. Kumerow and Lazard have teased us but I'll believe in them more if they keep this up for another 10 weeks. Allison to me is just a #4 possession type guy. They have good moments and hopefully they'll have more of them, more consistently. I hope I've been wrong on them - we'll see.

Shepherd just doesn't look the part. Not fast and not particularly quick. It would be nice to have a better return option and a more well-rounded slot receiver type to add to the options on offense.

agree with you on both of these.

Put it this way, we can't give up for Anderson more than we got for Davis. Otherwise we lose, and should have just kept Davis, who already knew the system. Imo

Don’t see the logic. Different receivers with different skill sets. Is Anderson better than Davis yes. Is Anderson better than MVS? Questionable, that the baseline

Anderson IMO is borderline low end #2 higher end #3 right now MVS is a middle #3 IMO so you are not getting much improvement for trading for Anderson esp with what trade comp would be to get him

Is he really that good? Maybe take a look. Frankly I'd take a look at run stuffers on the DL.
