Football orgs flush that kind of money every day, it's nothing to them.
There are two guys who arguably cost this team a playoff game, Rasheed Walker and McManus. Now both gone. Is what it is.

Probably wanted a chance to hook up with team that would be willing to give him a real chance in OTA and TC to compete to win the job instead of going thru camp with GB hoping Smack is bad enough that GB would have to compete him. Otherwise he would be hoping another kicker gets hurt to have a chance after GB would cut him at end of TC.
