My hope is that Gannon and LaFluer come up with some new transformational defensive scheme. Statistically not likely. But one can hope.
 
Let me add this in, Good reminder that scheme integrity and situational elasticity aren’t the same thing. Gannon’s core structure of five-man fronts paired with quarters and a heavy dose of Cover 3 has logic. It protects the run behind split-safety looks and keeps explosive plays in check when executed cleanly. But against a top-tier talented QB, he'll need more juice or end up as the Eagles did vs Mahommes in the SB.

It's impossible to know what he's going to do because the media has not been allowed to see him, let alone meet him and ask him questions.

At this point I don't even know if the players are allowed to meet him or speak to him. They may just lock him in the DC booth with a bunch of potato plants and a RO water unit and seal it up like a terrarium.

kinnard looked like garbage last year.
belton needs some serious development
and if zach tom moves to left tackle, somebody has to play right tackle and both guys will be out of position. i know we needed to let walker go, but i wish we had a better option than those guys. i sure hope morgan is a better tackle than walker was. because anything worse is going to end badly for love.
 
Will be interesting come May when the FA comp pick formula for 2027 no longer is active if GB goes and signs any other vet street FA.
 
So GB could maybe use another RB still. Arizona has a glute of them. Could Gute ask Matt to call his bro see if he could be willing to let one of them go for a 2027 7th? Trey Benson has couple years on of his rookie deal. Only 23 had some injuries last year but right now at best he's RB3 in AZ.

MLF and Gute both addressed it and said they are still on the Marshawn Lloyd bandwagon sh))
