Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

I wonder if whomever the GM is after the season is going to be willing to say Banks and Hobbs were mistakes they are not going to work here in GB and just cut bait and move on after one year instead of throwing good money after bad and bring them back again next year. There is a large dead cap for both but you save a little money cutting them and are allowed to use on two players the post June 1st cut dates to spread out the cap hit. I see no reason to keep either one of them for next year even if the cap savings is only a couple million for each player. Neither one can stay healthy and when they do play there are subpar.

Really what have they done for us lately?

Gary should be having a monster year with the new guy getting double teamed. I doubt even Elvis is letting him hang out.

Not sure what value they would have but, if it's even close to decent, I would part ways with them

He's a good player, and a new team would be paying him basically half of what top edge rushers get. GB just isn't getting bang for the buck on the cap hit. I think it's just a resource allocation matter. I'd rather pay Quay at this point than Gary.

even if we can just trade him for an okay dt, we are probably better off.
