I don’t think he can return after the bye. His practice window opens for a couple weeks and then he can be activated. I don’t think he counts on the roster until that point but it sure.

I think it's 6-8 weeks I think you can stay on PUP before a team must open your practice window. I think after that a team has 3 weeks before they must decide if the player goes on the 53 man roster or season ending IR.
