Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

this is the stupidest freaking move we could have made. we have no good draft picks left for the next couple years. we have absolutely handcuffed our ability to pay other players. i'll be the first to admit i was wrong if this turns out to be the missing piece of the puzzle to get to the promised land. and i hope that i'm wrong. i've been wrong before. once or twice.

Let's look at this objectively. Gute has never really picked well in the first round anyway. Also these will likely be late 1st rounders. I am not that concerned.

What I am concerned about is the interior and stopping the run.

It’s interesting because Ted Thompson also had a lot of first round misses, but his plan was to just rely on Aaron Rodgers and a weak division to drag GB to the playoffs, whereas at least Gute’s backup plan for the misses is to buy talent.

You're still forgetting about the cap implications and Parsons' injury history, not to mention he has a habit of fading in big games...he was a non-factor when we kicked Dallas ass in the playoffs.

According to Ryan Clark on The Pivot interview with Matt Lafleur, there is an empty space in the new locker room designated only for a Lombardi trophy. MLF says “I want our guys to start with the end in mind, that’s the ultimate team goal”
