Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

I didn't love Brady as an announcer but he would hammer the GB passing offense over and over with the word "detail", this is what he's talking about. Jordan Love isn't a wildly accurate passer as it is, but the mistakes the WR were making over and over - and not just drops, but routes, route depth, misplaying the ball etc. - really bogged down the offense.

That's why, if you take those errors into account, Love had a decent year, plus add in his injuries, and not sure he gets enough credit.

I also don't love the coaching for that spot. I never cared much for Vrable and he got promoted, and I dont know anything about Ryan Mahaffey, the new WR coach, except that he's young and inexperienced. On top of that there is Connor Lewis, the Pass Game Specialist (maybe more QB adjacent?), and everyone sits under Stenavich, the OC. It all just seems muddled to me.

My hope is that Reed had a typical sophomore slump, where he had trouble catching the ball and then got banged up doing all the end arounds and jet sweeps. I still really like his game and want them to simplify things for the guy by just playing him as a slot WR.
 
Packers announce at stockholders meeting on July 25th Ed Policy will officially take over as team president.
