Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

So who does ML hire to be the next QB coach? I know they brought in before last season the former QB to spend a year under Clements with him as the possible next QB coach but Luke Getsy was with the team after he got fired. Could GB bring back him instead since he's a know factor to ML?
 
Okay, the off-season is here, so a good time to look ahead at the overall state of the team. What needs to improve going forward both from a coaching and player perspective?

Player needs:
- still could use a developmental QB. Clifford, to me, is not the answer and Willis is likely just here for one more year.
- O-line is just barely adequate. I’m still looking for a LT and swing tackle. Assume Myers is gone and Monk may get the first shot at starting Center, but I’d be looking for an OC/OG in the draft and FA. It’s supposed to be a decent OT draft but a mediocre C/G draft.
- TE is solid so I’m just maybe looking for a late round depth guy.
- WR seemed fine at the end of last season. Wicks’ regression stands out. Melton is doing almost nothing. Now Watson is injured and likely out for much of 2025. Doubs has had 2 concussions just this year, which raises a red flag for me. I’d look hard at a tallish WR in Rd1-3 and a FA if you can get one on a reasonable deal. You need at least 2 it seems.
- RB is good.
- DT is okay for now, but I wouldn’t mind a bigger DT, for more depth, and to replace Clark in 2026. The IDL group is supposed to be decent in the 2025 draft.
- Edge seemed fine other than a late depth guy when last season started. With the lack of production from Gary and Van Ness, this is more of a need than you’d think. I’d look for help in any round.
- LB is still a need, at least for depth. Walker has just not developed into a really good MLB so you may still need to find one, unless you think Hopper is that guy.
- S is set for right now.
- CB is maybe the biggest need, IMO. Alexander is likely at the end of his time in GB and Stokes is a FA after the season and is just your #4/5 CB right now. Nixon is barely an adequate slot who’s playing OK outside. It’s a high value position and would make sense as a position to target in Rd1 in the draft. This is the other position I’m looking at hard in FA as there are some decent options.
- Specialists are fine right now. Whelan is solid but they may need another kicker, depending on McManus and his contract situation.

Coaching is solid but I wonder if it’s time to move on from Bisachia. I still don’t see solid improvement from special teams so maybe time to find a new voice there.

Might be pushing it to be back week 12 which is start of December. Talking about 10 months of recover time. He's going to be a FA after next season there is no reason to push it to try to play in 4-5 games and take risk of pushing to hard and having a set back.

Be interesting to see how they handle his contract and place with the team next year. Best route for all parties may be a one year deal to see how he bounces back in 2026.

are you watching the same games i am? we can't seem to generate any consistent pass rush. we got marginally better at stopping the run, but that's about it.
