Sorry to see how it all ended for Bakh. He earned that last contract but injuries never allowed him to live up to it. Too bad they couldn't find a way to rework the deal to keep him, but it's probably best for everyone to move on. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a deal and what kind of money he garners.

Re: Jacobs singing, he had a down year last year but Gute and ML obviously on the same page with having wanted a big back with power/speed for a while now. Drafted Dillon, sniffed around Taylor and Saquan.

I like the Jacobs signing. It tells me they don't intend using a pick for an RB unless it's real late in the game.

After reaching agreement today with free-agent RB Josh Jacobs, the Packers informed RB Aaron Jones that he is being released, per source. Jones now will be a free agent

Going to miss Jones. Great RB and classy guy. Wish he could have stayed but that's just the business I guess.

$17m cap hit, they had to do something. I don’t know what GB offered but takes two to tango, he’s obviously chasing top dollar too.

I hate saying this, because it could back to haunt me, but I think we need someone who is a little less likely to be injured than Jones at RB.

Sometimes you just have to restock the shelves.
