Also Rodgers seems the guy while he will invite the guys he's close to over for dinner and drinks he's not going out to the clubs with them to party.
 
I think sometimes the "friends" card is overplayed, teammates yes but a lot of these guys go home and to other states off-season.
Friends, among football players usually means "work friends." All of us have, or have had them. Go to lunch together, talk a lot of crap, get off work, go separate ways. When they leave the game, they become outsiders, no longer part of the circle.

That doesn't even take into consideration the fact that some of the guys you call your "buddies" are guys you want to beat out for a job.

I was thinking more along the lines of giving the guys still in GB a shout out abd vote of confidence.
