Packers 2022 Thread

Not worth doing anything right now. The WR cabinet is bare as we have seen it in a long time. One average FA isn't going to drastically change that or make GB a SB contender overnight.

Wait until after the draft and then see how that shakes out. If GB screws itself again and makes some questionable trades leading to the loss of a shot at a WR then ya FA has to be looked at. This is a multi-year retooling right now, don't panic and sign someone just to sign someone.

Other musings because you know it's March and the news is boring.

Arod has not to my knowledge said anything about the Adams trade yet.

Maybe it's just me but I would think your team leader would at least say something like "we wish him well, but I'm looking forward to working with the other WR to win the division again".

He’s not going to say anything about football again until May

in that same vein, you may have noticed that adams never mentioned rodgers in his official bye-bye green bay post. something makes me think the two former friends are now on the outs.

Disagree with you both. I don’t think they were close personally. Adams never carrying water for Rodgers, not in the “inner circle”. Both professional, great professional connection etc but I don’t think they’re buds.
