Packers 2022 Thread

Can only say I am glad nobody here has any say in personnel moves. Nobody knows for sure what will happen with current players, including Rodgers and Adams. I look forward to seeing what management does this offseason and that should come fairly soon. There will more than likely be surprises nobody sees coming. I do not see a mass house cleaning either way as some think.

Score, try it yourself. Try to keep Rodgers as is and see what you need to do just to get to the place of signing draft picks. Not being snarky here, just try in a rudimentary way. Like I said before, you can have Rodgers or you can have a good roster next year, but you can't have both.

I can only say that a few people here were not worried about the 9ers. Glad they are not involved in game planning. Wait, maybe they were and that's what happened last night!?!? Good to see you posting Score!

Packers won't get rid of Bak at least not in 2022. Best thing to do IMO

Rodgers retires or is traded
Adams leaves in FA
Z Smith, P Smith, Turner, Lowery, Crosby, Cobb are all released
Bak and Clark have contracts restructed
Alexander and Amos have contracts extended and cap numbers lowered
Packers resign Campbell and Douglas
Sign a veteran WR in FA that is not nearly as expensive as Adams

By 2024 cap issues should be cleared up and have some money to spend.

I made keeping Rodgers work and making cap as follows>>

Let Adams go in FA, NO TAG

Cut>

Z.Smith
Adrian Amos. Going to be 30 soon
Billy Turner
Dean Lowery
Mason Crosby
Cobb
Marcedes Lewis
Ty Summers
Vernon Scott
Patrick Taylor
Tipa Galeai

No URFA are able to get signed, includes
MVS
Lazard
ESB
Patrick
Whitney Mercilus
Burks etc
16 total

It's the only way that number works for me.

Kept Rasul Douglas Krys Barnes and
Yosuah Nijman

Nice work.. Arod doesn't come back for that as he said...... But nice job on that math
