Packers 2022 Thread

Both OTC and Spotrac are showing GB at $15.1 million in cap space since this is only for top 51 Packers would have two more roster spots to account for so really take another $1.5 million off this to have a top 53. So really around $13.5 million area.

Packers should trade one of their three 7th round picks to Miami for Lynn Bowden.
He still has 2 years left on his rookie contract.
He fills a need at WR and “gadget” role, plus he becomes the primary kick/punt returner.

ML could utilize him as a hybrid RB/WR.

You can't count on Alexander signing a new deal he and his agent could play hardball and not sign a ext unless they get what they want. So that leaves you with Lowry and Crosby to save money on you add void years to both you might save $4-5 million between the two.

Fine.
Let him play on the 5th yr option.
His risk.
If his shoulder blows out again he’ll be playing for veteran minimum the rest of his career.
He plays all year has all-pro year again he sells himself short then taking deal that is not his number.
