Packers 2022 Thread

Ok year one on Campbell is $16.25 million. I am guessing he got $15 million SB and base salary of $1.25 million. This would give him cap number of $4.25 million.

If Packers get Rodgers down to $33 million for 2022 and cut Cobb, Lowry, Lewis, Crosby that would give them $11.4 million in cap space. If they sign Lazard for the lowest RFA tag and sign ERFA and draft picks they are going to have like next to nothing left to go into the season with.

Now with Rodgers on the team for 2 years at least you now look to trade Love IMO. 2 more years he's a FA. GBP won't pick up 5th year so I rather try to trade him now while his value might be highest as he has 2 years left on contract and teams are looking for QB's with a bad QB pool in draft.

Considering Love and Rodgers are both repped by Dunn I have to believe it was part of the conversation.

I'm happy the kept Campbell, there's some talk of them trying to keep Douglas as well. Rodgers contract is what it is, but I'd much rather them use limited resources to keep the D intact than extend Adams. Then build up the skill positions on O again in the draft.
