Leading isn't about doing everything yourself. A great executive chef doesn't cook every meal in his kitchen. A general doesn't fire every bullet. It's about driving your team to do their best, stepping up when you need to but getting everyone involved and doing their part. How many plays did Rodgers call out of from run to pass just so he could try to play school yard ball with Tae? How do you think it effects the way these guys run the ball when the QB shows that he openly disdains them? Just look at Rodgers' body language, staring at the freaking sky. No energy, no enthusiasm, he was like a frozen Mahi mahi fillet from the Trader Joe's freezer section out there. Jimmy G was one of 11 on offense, he played like it and he got it done where Rodgers failed.Except Jimmy threw only 2 passes in the final drive, the last 5 plays were runs. And one pass to Samual was a dump over the middle and yds came after catch. Not debating Rodgers played horrible but that game was not Jimmy outplaying him.
That’s part of but not all of it. Jimmy throws the ball to Kittle on time it’s a TD. But he was 3 seconds late. That SF offense was dead except for Samual who played like a warriorLeading isn't about doing everything yourself. A great executive chef doesn't cook every meal in his kitchen.
