Official Game 8 Green Bay vs Arizona Thread

If there was ever a game that Rodgers could use to point at the Packer front office and say; "See? You need to listen to this song!," this is it.

I'm actually very anxious to see just how well the coaching staff, and players can handle the adjustments they need to make to be competitive in this game. If they do find a way to win it, they will emotionally set to start the second half of the season, knowing full well the loss to the Saints was a one off.

Even if they lose, but put up one helluva fight, they come out winners for the second half as it starts.

What if they roll over dead from the start. LOL

I think the fans took the NOLA game much different than the players or staff did. Doubt there was the same overreaction as there was on social media. All that said, it’s one more game of 17 over the season. It’s the staffs job to put who’s out there in the best position to win. As much has been made of guys out on offense i am just as interested how they plan to defend Murray

I know they want to win this one but I agree, it's one of 17. They gotta get themselves healthy on the OL and then let that thing come together. Not going to go all out or risk anyone to win a Thursday night cross country road game in October, that's just not how they're going to function.

Curious about the D as well. I have to say, all things considered, I understand the D they're playing now better than when they hired Barry. They're doing some good stuff there, I like the straight forward approach better than the exotic Pettine stuff. I get it and I kinda like it but I'm still not sold on Barry, if that makes sense. I don't know how well he adjusts, and I don't know how creative he is in giving an offense different looks and being able to dial up a creative blitz or two when needed. This will be a huge test of their discipline and IQ this week to see how they contain Murray.

Cardinals ruled out DE J.J. Watt for Thursday night’s game vs. Packers due to a shoulder injury.
