One last stab at it, The board is in flux after last weeks trade so I readjusted something's. Please check the notes.. A lot can change this draft.
Round 1. Kenny Clark*, NT, UCLA 6-2. 314. Clark will be the top rated player on GB board and TT fills his DL hole right off the bat. He had a decent combine work out and GB has scouted the West coast hard the past 3 yrs. [bcolor=#ffff00]NOTE: GB will strongly consider an OT here and if that pick takes place don't be surprised. [/bcolor]
Round 2: Kentrell Brothers, ILB/OLB, Missouri Height: 6-0. Weight: 245. Brothers stock is up and down but GB can't let him pass at the end of round 2. Brothers made a big impact in 2015, recording 152 tackles, 12 for a loss, two interceptions, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, three passes batted and a blocked punt. He has real speed to defend the perimeter and could have three-down ability for the NFL. Starts day 1 inside.
Round 3 : Fahn Cooper, OT, Ole Miss 6'4 304 Some will say this is high for Cooper but he's a swing OT who can move to guard as well. He has started at both the Right and left side. With coaching could be a solid long term starter and is a solid back up as a rookie. GB needs a better option for OT depth and gets it. [bcolor=#ffff00]NOTE: [/bcolor][bcolor=#ffff00]Based on the board and players moving etc.[/bcolor]
Round 4 A. Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas He's on the board and GB can't let a high ranked player go here. Insurance for the future at RB. Solidly built and runs stronger than he is due to determination, He has a bad habit of running standing up at times but if he lowers his pads north-south you've had a bad day. 4.6 40 but understands a pro offense and how to pick up a blitz.
Round 4B. James Bradberry, CB/S, Samford Height: 6-0. Weight: 211 Another prospect that GB is known to like. He has a great skill set with size and speed. The senior recorded 45 tackles with 11 passes broken up and two interceptions in 2015. Adds more depth to an already young and talented secondary.
Round 4C. Darion Griswold, TE, Arkansas State 6'4 264 Meet this yrs Who ? Pick GB picks up a raw TE prospect with big upside while Cook and Rodgers hold down the 1-2 TE spot.
Round 5. Denver Kirkland*, G, Arkansas 6-4. 335 Played OT in college but an obvious OG in the pro's, some have him rated 4th rd others 6th. GB is thrilled to find him here and sew up their OL in the foreseeable future. Screams RG on film.
Round 6. James Cowser, 3-4OLB, Southern Utah Height: 6-3. Weight: 248 This yrs small school pick. An under the radar OLB prospect, totaled 68 tackles with 19 for a loss, 13 sacks, and four forced fumbles in 2015. Next in the line of prospects GB brings in to rush the passer.
Round 7. A.J. Stamps, S, Kentucky 6-0. 205. Sleeper prospect GB doesn't want to leave on the board so TT grabs him here. 4.5 40 time ... had 67 tackles and 8 pass's broken up in college last year. ST guy as a rookie that could grow into a role with time.
So there you have it. GB fills long term concerns on the OL. Adds a starting DT and ILB while addressing a RB and TE later.
While I would have loved a WR it wasn't in the cards the way the board looks right now.
