The funny thing about this - and it’s not picking on you TW because i see the sentiment everywhere - is that GB has been looking for a competent backup QB seemingly forever. Now they trade a 7th round pick for a guy with a few years under his belt, who has shown he can come in, execute a game plan, not screw up too much and have a great attitude about it all, and people want to immediately get rid of him. I think he is at his NFL ceiling right now, it’s a great place for him and he’s great for GB to have.

I think they should just not over think it, just keep him this year and considering giving him a contract in the offseason.

I agree. We have him on a team friendly deal for 2 years and he looks like he could be a competent back-up. The only way I would trade him is if a team gave us an offer that we could not refuse which would be overpaying.

The Packers could be in good position right now for the next few years. It is nice to see and to have for that matter.
