Redshirt junior Isaac Jordan maintained his perfect record and completed an unblemished run at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Jordan, the No.1 seed at 165 pounds, topped a pair of seeded opponents en route to claiming the individual championship. He bested No.4 George Pickett (Cornell) 8-1 in the semifinals and downed No.10 seed Chad Welch 5-3 in the championship bout.

Jordan is now 11-0 on the season and is ranked second in the nation at 165 by FloWrestling.

Wisconsin had two other place-winners during the weekend. Ricky Robertson placed fifth at 174 pounds and Ryan Christensen took eighth at 184.

Robertson, the N0.7 seed at his weight, began Saturday with a 4-3 win over No.9 Zack Hernandez of Columbia in Consolation Round of 8 No.2. He then blanked Rustin Barrick (Bucknell) 4-0 before falling to fifth-seeded Jadaen Bernstein of Navy in the consolation semis by a count of 7-3.

Bernstein also topped Robertson at the Michigan State Open last month.

Robertson ended his day on a high note with a 12-4 major decision over No.8 Brian Harvey (Army) in the fifth place match.

Christensen opened his day by beating ninth-seeded Tom Sleigh (Bucknell) 4-0. He fell to third-seeded Kenny Courts of Ohio State in the Consolation Round of 4 by a score of 11-3.

The seventh-place match saw Christensen fall to North Dakota State’s Hayden Zillmer 12-1.

Christensen, who was unseeded, faced four seeded foes over the course of the weekend and posted a 2-2 record.

UW wrestlers went 6-3 on the day and 20-17 for the weekend.

After starting the day in 24th place, the Badgers finished in a tie for 16th with West Virginia with 51.5 points. Missouri won the event with a team score of 154.

No.14 Wisconsin is back in action Saturday when it travels to Pittsburgh for a non-conference dual. The Badgers will then open the Big Ten season with a dual against No.1 Penn State on Sunday.
