If their algorithm says the Packers don’t need an OLB, then their algorithm is broken and seriously needs to be put out of service!
Their algorithm could be locked into what they perceive as the 3 largest needs which are shown for each pick. If you deviate from those choices, the player's relative value is downgraded? I don't know, but there's something specific that we're overlooking that has an effect. There has to be a reason we see those humongous scores rung up by some people doing their drafts, and unless you know the "inside trick," your draft will never reach that level.
In all honesty, if you "win" the draft by being #1 compared to the rest of the teams in your draft, you've actually won. At least that's my opinion.
