Well Phoenix has been injury free except for Paul and the Covid game and l have been on the Suns bandwagon for awhile. And quite honestly they have been the best team in the league since the bubble last year.Tonight we find out of the Bucks can guts it out, and show everyone they deserve to move to the next level. I realize it's game 5, and we're 2-2, but they have to show everyone, at home, that they can play without an important piece of their team in uniform.
Every other team that's reached this point has done it with key personnel not on the floor. They're survivors. The winner this year may not be the best team, but they will be one of the best teams at being able to adapt to adversity.
I have hopes that they can step up. Late tonight we'll know if they belong in this playoff.
No it has nothing to do with Buds offense. It not part of the offensive flow to pull up for step back 3's on a high pick and roll when you have had success taking the ball to the rim. And his "Bledsoe Play" has been about 3-4 games, other than that its just his shot is not falling. As I said, there were games that were maddening. He's has been below average on 3's and some of his decision making was been puzzling. And history is not repeating itself. They swept Miami, beat Brooklyn on the road in 7 and only because Durant became a combination of Bird and LeBron. And back to Holiday, Young has outplayed him. This guy is NBA All Defensive 1st team, thats on him.You point out how Holiday is playing just like Bledsoe in the playoffs. Ever taken a moment to think that a lot of that has to do with the way Bud wants his offense run? I've been watching flash-backs to the teams of the previous two years well before the playoffs, and quite honestly believe a lot of the problems the Bucks have could relate to Bud's actions.
Like it or not, history is repeating itself, and I don't believe it's coincidence.
Phoenix may not have injuries, but having lost Paul for a period of time was just as devastating.
I think this series is a toss up. Bucks win tonight they have good shot at going to finals. They lose they are done in 6 in ATLTonight we find out of the Bucks can guts it out, and show everyone they deserve to move to the next level.
