Even if he tries to gut it out, he won't be effective, so it's time for him to stay off the court, and get that knee repaired for next year. He has a lot of career ahead of him.
As for the Bucks, they'd already fallen apart with him in the line up. We're going to see if they have the capability of coming anywhere close to what other teams have when they lose stars.
Personally, I think they're toast. But we'll see. They just don't play as a team when Giannis is not in the line up. Let's see if Bud can actually coach, or not.
