Well that is true right now MKE is a team that needs to figure out how ot draft better. Only way they can likely get better will be to draft and develop in the minors.

Yes the draft is important but the payroll won’t stay low once revenue increases. This year is an outlier.

Thing is team relies on fans coming to ballpark and that is based on record if team is good you will have 2+ million attend team is bad you have a lot less and team spends lot less. Brewers owner has said in past team payroll depends on fans.

And they have contended the last 3-4 years. As bad as they are now they are 1 above 500 and 2 games out. With expansion of playoffs people will show up. It’s 33 games in and doom and gloom already. Don’t get it

Yeah but that was a one year deal on expanded playoffs. Brewers had a sub .500 record and made the playoffs. Glad it's back to normal.

It's allow about what both sides get and give. I don't think the DH is important to either side for them to give much to allow it.

The DH opens a roster spot for a bat and eliminates some back end arm. The union wants it bad
