Brewers 2025 Season Thread

Swept them 6-0 in regular season but it's playoffs now Dodgers seem to have got hot now and not going to be easy.
Dodgers finished the regular season winning 11 of 16 against teams either fighting for a playoff spot (Giants, D-backs) or already in (Phillies, Mariners (and the Mariners were trying to hold off Houston at the time)).

Then took 2 from the Reds, and beat the Phillies in 4.

Yeah, it's gonna be a tough row to hoe, but here's hoping the power of pocket pancakes helps Uecker appease the Baseball Gods.

ESPN didn't even mention the Brewers

the brewers have half the payroll of the dodgers. the only team in the final four to have a lower payroll than the brewers is the mariners. i think both teams did well to make it as far as they have, and it looks like the mariners could go to the world series. it is a shame that the brewers seem to have run out of gas.

Down 0-2 after losing both at home. Sadly it seems the Brewers are cooked and might not win a game this series.

Well the Brewers on the brink of getting swept in the NLCS. I did not expect them to win but was hoping they would have been at least competitive and win a couple games. The pitching has been decent but the offense has been abysmal. Only scoring one run a game with a few hits each game.

Oh well typical Brewers season though get to the playoffs and fall apart. At least though they did better then expected this year.

One more year of baseball and then we get a lockout. See if the owners can get any type of salary cap in place. Truly it will be the only way the Brewers can compete long term without getting lucky and having guys off the scrap heap play well and get young players still under team control play well. Without the cap the Brewers will always lose these younger players when they hit FA and have to hope they drafted well enough to replace them.
