Black Monday Thread

So Dallas denied permission to Bears to speak to MM. Also Jerry talked about how coaches should be incentivized to win. Guys on Sirius radio today talking could Jerry have made a low ball take it or leave it offer to MM that maybe has a lower base salary and rewards him for things like winning division and making the playoffs and playoff wins. Also that blocking him from talking the Bears prevents him from getting a better offer and that the Bears perhaps will no longer be interested in a week to talk to him when MM is free to. If this would be the case Jerry is being a a-hole. If that is the deal you are offering let him go because you really don't want him back that bad.
that's a whole lot of speculation.

First interview of perhaps the hotest coaching candiate Ben Johnson goes to the Pats. Also will interview with Raiders and then Bears and Jags on Saturday.

Guess rumor around Jets really like Aaron Glenn. If they go him it shows you how inept the Jets org is. You fire Robert Saleh a defense minded coach who had the defense playing really well but was blamed for the offense not living up to par just to see the defense go to hell when he was fired and now you will repeat this by brining in another defense minded coach?

Saleh would be nuts to go from one dumpster organization to another but we'll see, money talks.

I've thought Glenn to the Jets has made sense for months. Former player there, etc.

would you rather take coordinator money with the 49ers or head coach money from the raiders? tough choice.

I’d be wary about coaching for another crappy owner on a team without a QB, but that’s me. Also need to consider there are a lot of openings this year and next year may look a lot different.
