Black Monday 2022

No it was not a friendship hire it was to sell tickets. My point was one year does not put a career in jeopardy
Had Urb come back 2 years with him you have a lot of bad habits that become harder to break with new coach in place. One year no but any longer Lawrence isuses harder to fix that he develops with bad coaching.

Still-#Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh tells @MitchAlbom that "this is the last time” he’ll chase an NFL job while admitting the #Vikings weren’t as enthusiastic about him as he was about them.

AKA he thought he would walk into the building and they would be falling all over him giving him all the control and money he wanted with a job offer right away. But when Vikings actually wanted to just interview him and consider him his little feelings got hurt because he found out he's not as hot as he thought he was.
I don’t believe for a minute they were not enthusiastic about him. Not one minute. They spoke prior so you have to assume things like roster control and such was vetted then.

Unless that roster gets fix Peterson won’t fix much. Baalke was / is the core issue

Pederson will be good for Lawrence (see Wentz). But I feel bad that he’s stuck working with an idiot GM (Baalke) and owner (Khan)

#1 that it won’t happen again is utterly laughable
#2 you don’t have “conversations”, ask for permission and then fly the guy in on national signing day if you are not enthusiastic
#3 Educated guess it came down to money and contract length. I’m confident that UM has presented him with some parameters on a new deal.

IE why not Bieniemy?? Does he interview badly etc? This has something to do with it>>>

Colorado police once again arrested Bieniemy, then in the NFL, in September 1993. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Bieniemy allegedly grabbed a female parking attendant by the neck and threatened her.

From 1993 but Vance Joseph had the issues also and got hired. Red flag? Probably, I’ll refrain from future comment until the league stops protection of its own

How is Bieniemy not one of the league's own being protected?
