Michigan was, in the words of one source, “elated” to get Harbaugh’s decision. Harbaugh told Warde Manuel that this would not be a re-occurring issue and he would stay at Michigan as long as it wants him, per sources.

Rams’ OC Kevin O’Connell has emerged as the favorite to be named head coach in Minnesota, per @dangrazianoespn and me. Vikings have called other candidates to inform them they’re out of the running, sources say. Deal with O’Connell can’t be officially finalized until after the Super Bowl.
