Badger Men's BB Thread 2024/2025

Camren Hunter is first Badger BB player to hit the portal from the team. Hunter who transferred in from Central Arkansas in last year's portal only played in 11 games with playing only 2 minutes a game.

Apparently, based on this year, he wasn't projected for a bigger role next year and wasn't getting enough attention

Rohde is a solid get for Gard. Likely a starter but would be a versatile guy to have coming off the bench if that's how it plays out. Considering he started at Virginia last year and averaged 30 minutes and nearly 10 points per game while shooting 40% from 3-pt range, I think he's a solid candidate to start. Having played for Tony Bennett for one season it's likely he plays solid defense. A more than adequate Klesmit replacement.

They could use a bigger guy now in the portal but the only other guy they have a strong link to right now is Nick Boyd, a PG. Boyd played on FAU's cinderella final-4 team and last year played at San Diego State. He averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, and shot 35% percent from 3-pt range. He's gotten interest from North Carolina recently, so we'll see how that plays out.
