This is a win/win... We don't give up much and we get depth. In certain packages he may be better than some of the starters.

In Guteys presser today he mentioned that he himself had scouted the guy coming out of college.
 
I don't know why the Packers made this trade. I have a question mark in my mind. I'm going to have to wait and see what transpires. It's possible they were just looking for someone to help absorb snaps on the inside because they don't have trust in the guys they have. Let's see what happens on cut-down day.
