Aaron Rodgers new contract

The NBA model is in really the “Bird Rule” so not really relevant. So as much as Ryan set the bar so did Cousins getting 1 year tag deals. Personally the big part of Rodgers deal is navigating the next CBA....yes there will be a lock out and structure more than money is the key.

He could want the out clause for reasons that extend beyond player versus team control OR are not directly related to compensation compared to other players. None of the reported scenarios have been denied here. He is not even denying his agent is talking to the media.

Interesting take BlackWolf. I've heard others say the same thing in regards to what Rodgers had to say. Once it all shakes out, it'll be interesting how many of these reports were right.
