not for one year. he actually got what amounts to $45mil for two years (fully guaranteed), but technically, it's three years for $67,500,000. the contract is designed with an out after the first two years because all of the guaranteed money is paid in the first two years.

I like Cooper and believe in him as much as anyone but why in the world would they be considering an extension for him at this point? He hasn't been near as good as Campbell and they haven't even settled on a defined role for Cooper yet.

The first two extensions from that draft class are going to be Bullard and Williams.
