2026 NFL Season Thread

Illinois has spent $2.5 billion dollars over just the last 3 years on illegal immigrants and fake refugees. Cut them off and spend the money on infrastructure.
RP, that's not going to happen because at least 50% of that never actually got to an illegal alien

NFL clubs were informed today that the salary cap for the ’26 season will jump $22 million per club to $301.2 million. Add in another $77.6m in benefits & that’s $378.8m per club in player spending. Tremendous growth
i brought this up in shout when you posted it, but it was immediately wiped out by the automated purge of shout posts. the cumulative inflation rate in the united states between 1994 and today (february 2026) is 119.75%, meaning prices are now 2.2 times higher than they were in 1994.

during that same time span, the salary cap has risen by 770.5%. how many people do you know who had their salary rise by 770% since 1994? and if the players are seeing that kind of an increase, imagine how much bigger the increase has been for owners.
