two corners and an edge taken within a few picks after the packers draft a guard. sound ridiculous, but then again gute.
 
Now that the smoke from FA is clearing, its worth noting that the Chicago Bears, whose secondary was on the weak side to begin with, lost several starters or primary backups to FA and they will assuredly be shopping for corners in the draft. If GB wants a corner I think they need to make that a priority in Round 2 because that's just going to get picked clean by Rd 3. Too many needy teams.
 
DT Caleb Banks broke his foot at combine. Expected to be sidelined until June. Could have been a 1st round pick before this now does the injury slide him down the boards? If he is there at 52 should the Packers take him?

Though issue is he's had repeated foot injuries in college so is this a big enough red flag to take him off the board or in GB's case makes Gute want him even more?

no. almost has to be corner at this point.
 
Would be heart breaking to have Johnson go right before GB's pick at 52. But if that happens pass on Dunker the guy is more hype off his looks then his actual play. No one in the bottom of that 2nd round interests me. If I am Gute that is were I see if a team has 2 3rd round picks and I move that 2nd round pick to move down to round 3.

Round 3 then would be nice to get Devin Moore, Logan Jones, and Mike Washington Jr with the 3 picks the team would have.

for me, this is one instance where i could understand a reach for a cornerback. based on moves we made in free agency and trades, i think cb has to be our top priority, and if you look at how many good cbs go off the board before our third round pick, i wouldn't want to risk trading down. the only two teams that have multiple third round picks where at least one of the picks is higher than our third round pick are the dolphins and the steelers. the dolphins could actually give us two picks that are higher than our third. that i would probably do.
