Interesting part of this analysis is that the league gave the Bears the biggest rest advantage. They (with a couple other teams) never play a team coming off of a bye week.

fascinating. the league claims that the number of rest days between games is irrelevant. the chargers got totally screwed, playing four games against teams that have full 7-day byes and two teams that have 3-day mini byes. and the eagles play four teams coming off a full 7-day bye as well. the packers only play one game against a team that is coming off a full 7-day bye. there are only four teams that never have a full 7-day advantage. green bay is one of them. all-in-all, the packers schedule is pretty fairly divided between positive and negative rest day differential. chicago, buffalo, and dallas all have a decided rest advantage. but there are 15 teams that never play against a team coming off a full 7-day bye week and 6 teams that play against multiple teams coming off of full 7-day bye weeks.2026 NFL Schedule Rest Disparity: Teams Helped & Hurt

There's little things too. When GB plays Chicago on Christmas which is a Friday, GB is playing the prior Sunday while the Bears play the prior Saturday. and that's a road game too, right? so it really means it is closer to a two-day disadvantage when you figure in a day lost to travel.

it's not the trip itself. you're not going to even do a walkthrough on the travel day. it's a lost day.
