if you look at the stats for the game, he didn't really do that well, and had very little to do with the victory. but let him have this moment because there may not be that many of them.

the biggest criticisms of Gabriel, coming from the Shedeur fans, is that DG is too short and cant throw the ball deep. but I think the Brown's coaches know they have OL issues, and wanted DG to do the read and release quickly, rather than stand back there and wait for someone to get open (which is what Sanders does). so the trade off is a worse completion percentage, for more downfield throws.

Browns going to start Sanders next week despite Gabriel being cleared. I think this is a 100% move to appease the fans. Sanders right now is the guys the fans want to see despite him showing he's not playing good. The Browns won't be going to the playoffs so might as well keep the fans happy and show them the rest of the year he's not the QB you want for your future.

Another so called "injury" for JJ McCarthy? MN has put him in concussion protocol after they say he showed symptoms on flight home. Will he miss time again? Lot of people said the ankle was not as bad as it was and he could of played but was not ready so they used it as an excuse to not play him. Now after his horrible showing against GB will they say he now has a concussion and use it as a excuse not to play him again?

the fans are already calling for Stefanski's job - if he went back to Gabriel they would have his head! But I guess when you start giving in to the "wants" of unqualified fans (and owners) this is what you get. I've even seen some people claim that his first start was "legendary".
