2025 NFL Season Thread

So CJ Stroud put at 39 in NFL top 100 despite Jordan Love having more TDs and less INTs then Stroud. Love was put at 68. Shows you how little respect Love has in the league. Stroud though super over rated because a decent rookie season were he came into 2nd year with a ton of hype. Same as Daniels this year. Good rookie year and many are already saying he's a top 5-10 QB.

The Washington Football team had the easiest schedule last year, and they took advantage of it. While I think Daniels will be a good QB, given a much tougher schedule in 2025 I think expectations for him and the WFT are too high.

dude plays against a pre season vanilla D and they already think he's the next Aaron Rodgers. He'll get eaten up in the regular season
I was listening to ESPN radio yesterday, and of course the commentators (who I quite often question their sports knowledge) were obviously gushing over S Sanders. They were interviewing a Browns beat reporter, and kept pushing about Sanders. He said something like "let's pump the brakes a bit here; he had a good start, but in Q1 against the #1 defense he was shaky, and he didn't have much success until Carolina put in their 2's and 3's." And then they asked him how soon he thought "he" would be starting, and his response was "Sanders?" - you could hear in his tone of voice that he was getting a little annoyed with all the Sanders hype. But again, this goes back to my first statement about sports media - they're not the most intelligent bunch, and they buy into the hype so quickly, and then they refuse to ease off the gas when it's apparent that reality doesn't match the hype. It's not just ESPN, or Yahoo, it's all of them including the NFL Network who is playing the Browns game live AGAIN this week and week 3 - all of their games covered live. You would think he was the #1 draft pick.
BTW - there were a handful of other rookie QB's who played as good or better than he did.
