I think the injury waiver is that he goes out tears his ACL in rookie camp that the team would still go out and give him his 4 year full rookie deal without any kind of off-set to the deal.
 
I’m not interested in his views on money, I just don’t know if my fandom could handle a third 1st round, non-productive pass rush project

speaking of views on money, with the dolphins signing quinn ewers to his rookie contract with the only guaranteed money being his $131k signing bonus and total money over 4 year $4.3 million vs. a nil offer of $8 million for his final remaining year of eligibility. the first extreme example of how going to the nfl before your final season of college eligibility can cost you millions of dollars. he almost went undrafted (7th round pick). i honestly would have taken the $8mil to stay in college.

His agent had to say what are you stupid when he heard he was going to go pro over turning down $8 million.
