two sticks and a chain. maybe they could put some fancy led lights on the sticks and they light up green on a first down and red when the first down isn't made. oooh, maybe i need to patent this idea quick.
it works... always has. The chain gang doesn't spot the ball,which is more of an issue then measuring it. Too damn much fan input and players bitching then making the game better.
Off topic GB should shut the hell up about the tush push as well!

I don't particularly like the tush push, to be honest. I like the old rule about not being able to "assist the runner". But unless you have an alternative to propose, don't just keep asking about making it illegal.

Wow that's surprising but I guess with tagging Smith they can't afford 4 high priced OL. Give the Bears credit they are going hard at fixing the OL to protect Williams. Bears might actually be good this year.
4th round pick so not much given up. Thuny 32 years old and in last year of 5 year contract making $16 million this year.
