so i went to the packers website to see what i could find about the upcoming draft. i was expecting to see up-to-date information, but instead here is what i found:

Where will the NFL Draft be held?
  • While details of the 2025 NFL Draft are still being finalized, the main portion of the event is expected to take place on the Lambeau Field and Titletown campus, with a variety of venues to be utilized within close proximity to the stadium campus. More information about the event's locations will be shared in the coming months.
What will the 2025 NFL Draft include?
  • The festivities will include several days of activities throughout Green Bay and will feature the NFL Draft Experience – a massive free football festival – near Lambeau Field to allow fans of all teams to enjoy games, interactive exhibits, player appearances, sponsor experiences, youth-focused activities and opportunities for fans of all ages to test their football skills.
  • In previous years, the three-day event has also included free musical performances and entertainment as part of the NFL Draft Concert Series, along with a variety of community events taking place throughout the host city's area. These events are aimed at leaving a positive legacy in the area, giving back to those in need and celebrating organizations making a difference in the areas of social justice, military appreciation, youth wellness, etc.
  • The event also includes the NFL Draft Theater, where picks are announced by the Commissioner and other special guests; concert performances may also take place here.
How do I attend the 2025 NFL Draft?
  • Opportunities for attending the 2025 NFL Draft are still being finalized and will be announced in the coming months. In recent years, the event has included the NFL Draft Experience, which is FREE for all ages, as well as the Draft Theater, which may have ticketed areas and general viewing/standing room only areas. Fans may be required to register for NFL OnePass to gain entry to the NFL Draft Experience and the NFL Draft Theater. More information about attending the Draft and accessing the Draft Theater will be announced as the event approaches.
What is the NFL Draft Experience?
  • The NFL Draft Experience is a massive free football festival held in conjunction with the Draft. In 2025, this event is expected to be held near Lambeau Field to allow fans of all teams to participate and to enjoy games, interactive exhibits, player appearances, sponsor experiences, youth-focused activities and opportunities for fans of all ages to test their football skills. In previous years, the Draft Experience has included autograph sessions, opportunities to take pictures with the Lombardi Trophy and more. The Draft Experience is expected to be open all three days of the event. More information will be announced in the coming months.
everything talks about what has happened in previous years and seems to indicate that plans are not yet finalized. very few specifics. are the plans really this up-in-the-air when we are only 71 days away from the draft?
 
I plan on going figure this will be a one time thing. Will never get to a SB so get to the next biggest event the NFL has.

my dad's side of the family is planning a family reunion that weekend, in Birnamwood. We had a hotel room booked in Appleton, but then my wife's incentive trip for "high performers" was scheduled at the same time, and my flight was also paid for. Huntington Beach CA (wined and dined) vs Wisconsin . . . . . . sorry, family!

(for the record, I travel a lot for my work - but it's fun to be the plus 1 and just enjoy the resort!)

I saw of a news report starting in late March they will be closing Onieda street off in front of Lambeau and the Resech Center until a week or two after the draft. Also week or two before the draft they will be shutting down other roads around Lambeau including Lombardi right next to Lambeau. Going to make it a pain on traffic for people in GB and coming into the draft.

that site doesn't have any additional specific information, and there's a link for "The Latest NFL Draft News" that just takes you back to the packers.com website which i quoted up above that says things like "While details of the 2025 NFL Draft are still being finalized,..."

again, either the packers are woefully behind in preparing for a major event that takes place in about two months, or they are simply not keeping fans informed.

Do they really need to tell everyone what the plan is 2.5 months before it happens? Now, if we're in April and they haven't said anything, then that would be an issue.
 
If they are expecting 100,000+, they sure as hell do need to have this squared away by now.
