Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State​

How far under the radar should a 6-foot-2, 203-pound receiver who produced 104 receptions, 1,382 yards, and 16 touchdowns be? Nick Nash's career journey was fascinating after starting his career as a quarterback. He caught on more as a receiver in 2023 and quickly became a dangerous playmaker with his size and power.

He's not an overly dynamic downfield threat, but he fits the profile of guys like Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as bigger-bodied receivers who can win inside and out. Being a reliable big slot is incredibly valuable as offenses continue to embrace chess pieces that can stay on the field regardless of formation.

Nash's elite catch rate during the last two years (<6%), contested catch rate in 2024 (50%), and overall reliability make him the top Day 3 candidate to explode early in his career.

2025 class on top, 2024 on the bottom. Looks like, by their numbers, it's not strong group of man cover corners (compared to last year). If you want a guy like that you're looking at Barron, Amos, Revel - incidentally, all guys linked to GB - but after that, lookout below.

This also kinda jives with what I have been feeling in doing mock draft sims, that if you don't get one of these guys in the first or trade down to early second, it feels like it's hard to get a quality corner after that.

Why would anyone want a QB who will be 26 by the time the season starts and has had a ton of injuries. Maybe a day 3 late round pick as a gamble but taking him day 2 seems a big risk when guys like Lawernce and Fields who were in the same class as him have already been in the league 4 years already.

Sure seems the OT from USC Jonah Monheim is a Packers guy plays Tackle, guard, center

He is 6-4, 302 pounds and started games at guard, tackle and center for the Trojans. He developed into the best offensive lineman for USC after moving to center last season. Just put on the Michigan tape. Matched up against Mason Graham and Kennth Grant, two first-round picks, he more than held his own. Graham got a sack on a play where Monheim took him behind the QB with a nice block, but Graham was able to step up and get the sack with effort. I gave that rep to Monheim. Graham did beat him a few times, but for the most part he more than held his own when matched up with Graham and Grant in one-on-one situations. He can move and get out in space too, which is a must in today's game. Might need to get a little stronger. Has short arms, but he made up for it with his quickness and technique
