2025 Draft Prospects Thread

Though I won't be shocked we if GB would draft a guy like Jack Bech in round 3 maybe he would be like Jordy Nelson?
i wouldn't expect that, but he has a reputation as big, strong receiver with outstanding ball skills. "He’s physical at the top of the route and has a rebounder’s feel for owning catch space once he gains top positioning. His hands are sticky and strong with elite catch focus from any spot on the field."

i don't think he's got wr1 in his future, but we could sure use a guy who doesn't drop passes.

If I had to pick 5 WR right now in draft.

1. Golden

4. Egbuka

Can't argue with your top-5. I think you'd need to use a first round pick to get one of them because while a couple will probaby be there on Day 2, they'll likely all be gone by #54.

I'd be fine with Bech but will be surprised if he lasts until pick #87. He kinda reminds me more of James Jones.

Bech might be gone at 54 but Royals likely there so he could be a choice if you decide to push WR off for the 1st and 2nd rounds. Guess we will have to see how much Gute feels he needs to fix the defense and how much he needs to add a weapon to the offense.

Hunter is far and away the best WR in the class. Also, I dont think that 40 time from Golden was legit.

Hunter did not include him because will he end up a WR or a CB?
Man I have no idea. Right now I think he is an immediate, impact starter at WR. He's like Jefferson. The NFL plays so much of that two deep S stuff, they protect their corners. It's not to say you don't need corners because of course you do and the more stud corners the better, but at the same time I think it's become a bit of a weak link game at CB. Ten years ago I would've said play him at corner, no brainer, but now I'm not so sure. As a CB he may take some time to develop, whereas at WR he's playing and making an impact right away and you're getting value from that rookie contract. And from the player's standpoint, top WR are making significantly more money than corners now.

Hunter is in the mix, but he's not clearly the best WR in the class. They padded his stats to get him the Heisman; he came in as a CB first, and then a WR secondarily but last year after the first couple of games, they just fed him.
