Smith looked meh today. Give him a couple more games but right now not sure if I am going to give him the keys to start next year. But that being said you are not going to find a top of the line starter to come to UW in the portal either.

How bad is the Badgers offense this year? They rank dead last in the Big Ten with only 120 points scored the next team is UCLA at 194 points. Indiana has scored nearly 4 times as many points as UW this year at 476 points.
Only one other team in the NCAA D1 has scored less then UW. That is the Mass Minutemen who have scored 105 and are 0-10 on the season.

I believe, with this NIL in place, we're gonna see more of this throughout the conferences. There will be only a few conferences that will be able to trot out winning teams. The rest will be cannon fodder for the big money teams.
