2025 Badger Football Thread

agreed. when your gm decides to take a lower roll in a competing organization, not good.
Could be just that the Badgers are cheap and this guy got a good pay raise to go to USC despite taking a lower job.

And, it could be a young kid getting an opportunity with a Bigger Program. Yea, it sucks, but USC is historically a bigger program than Wisconsin.

And, the winters?

fickell is saying "please take me with you".

This a very bad sign.

Might be a bad sign, I can't rule that out. It might also just be a young guy moving to a blue-blood program in an area where the recruiting is much easier. Also, who hired Steinecker . . . Chad Bowden the new USC GM, who recently left his job as Assistant Athletic Director and GM at Notre Dame of all places. So that guy took a demotion from his job at Notre Dame to go to USC. Maybe it's a bad sign for both Notre Dame and Wisconsin, or maybe it's just a couple of guys moving to a new job for money, weather, more fertile recruiting territory, or ???

Nyzier Fourqurean was successful with his lawsuit. A judge has over-ruled the NCAA and granted Fourqurean an additional year of eligibility. This is a small win for Bucky because they seriously lacked depth at CB. Now they have their starting outside CBs back with Hallman choosing to return for his senior year. The position is still thin after those 2, but it seems like less of a disaster than it was a month ago.
