Good point. This is why I wished Renfro well. I never thought he'd get another year so I had already written him off as a graduated Senior as he'd already used 2 red-shirt years. I really don't get the eligibility rules - some guys can't get a 5th year, others get a 7th. He's spent so much time injured I hope he finds a new team and has a healthy season.

the sad reality today is that a college athlete that has little chance of making te pros can still make a big chunk of money in college as a decent player. you have to get on the right team and be good at developing a marketable image, but it is possible.
