2025-26 Milwaukee Bucks Season Thread

Free agent forward Gary Harris has agreed to a two-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, with a player option on the second season, sources tell ESPN. Bucks continue to fortify the roster with a veteran wing who played key rotation roles for playoff teams in Denver and Orlando.

Bucks cutting Lillard and stretching his salary over next 5 years. Also signing Myles Turner to a 4 year $107 million dollar contract.
During the playoffs, I thought Myles Turner played a little "dirty". That said - it's exactly what the Bucks are lacking. While Lopez could protect the rim, he didn't play with the same physical intensity that Turner does.

So, we get rid of Connaughton and trade 2 more draft picks away? How are the Bucks supposed to right the ship without draft picks? Just askin'?

I just think it would have been better to suffer Connaughton exercising his $10M option - a lite beer in my world - instead of giving up 2 draft picks even if they are second round.

second round picks in the nba draft (especially the bottom half of the nba draft) are like 7th round picks in the nfl. it is very rare that they turn out to be starters. i agree that the bucks gm has squandered all of the bucks draft capital, but it appears they are more interested in aging established starters than developing rookies.at least until giannis moves on.

Bucks made that trade as it's expected the guy they got back is going back to Europe and to do some take very little of his $8 million salary to get bought out. This helps the Bucks cap situation.
