That's what I meant. It used to be him and me on Hockey. Now, Bucky's so depressing, he dumped me like the Evil Chinese
 
So, if it were decided today, Bucky's ranked 14th in NPI.

The Tourney is made up of 6 conference tournament winners (B1G, AHA, CCHA, NCHC, Hockey East, ECAC) and the top 10 in NPI.

So arguably, Bucky is hanging on by a thread. If the 6 conference tournament winners are in the top 16 of NPI then the Tournament would be made up of the top 16 NPI and Bucky would be in.

The top CCHA team is ranked 13th.
The top AHA team is ranked 26th.

It's highly possible that 2 of the conference tournament champions are ranked below 16 in NPI. If there is one upset in any other conference tournament by a team ranked below 16, then Bucky would be out. 6 conference champions, 3 ranked less than 16 NPI. So, 3 in the top 16 NPI. That would leave the last NPI rank to be 13 and Bucky's out.

Just too bad, that Bucky fell apart. It's no hanging on by a thread.

Luckily, Bucky is home against Notre Dame this weekend. It needs to sweep this series. It won't push them up much but could stop them from falling more.

Then Bucky travels to Ohio State who seems to have our number. Somehow, Bucky needs to sweep them Ohio State as well.

We went from the #2 overall seed, and a point out of first in the B1G

Then we flipped the page to 2026 and we haven't won but 2 games, including getting swept by the worst Minnesota team in two decades. Bucky's hanging on by a thread?

We went from "we're so back" to "it's never been more over" in like three weeks
 
This weekend might be Bucky Hockey's most important of the season.

Bucky is on the bubble of the National Tournament by the skin of its chiny chin chin.

Bucky is travelling to Ohio State who somehow just seems to have Bucky's number outside Lambeau. I believe Bucky needs to sweep Ohio State this weekend, or it will have to win the B1G to get in.
